Services Provided by the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (RDKB) in Electoral Areas C, D, and E.

Did you know that there is no charge to take invasive plants to the landfill in our Regional District?

They should be double bagged to prevent escape of seed.

The RDKB operates an Equipment Loan-out Program in the Boundary.  You can borrow a variety of different spray equipment to treat your invasive plants.  There is also an ATV mount grass seeder.  For more information:

In Areas D and E the RDKB offers a New Invaders Program that will treat up to 5 acres of priority invasive plants with herbicide at no charge to the landowner.  For more information:
