Clean Drain Dry your boat and equipment.

Never dump your aquarium contents into any outside water source including rivers, lakes, streams, wetlands, ditches or storm drains. Dumping water and aquarium plants onto dry land in your yard will reduce the risk of spreading diseases and invasive species.

Beware when buying plants for your water garden as some retailers sell invasive plants such as parrotfeather, hydrilla and other invasive plants.

Educate yourself on what is native and what is invasive in your area and choose your plants wisely.
